Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia is an active advocacy group that promotes bicycling as a healthy, low-cost, and environmentally-friendly form of transportation and recreation.
BicyclePA developed routes that crosses the state of Pennsylvania on mostly highways and some trails. Routes E, L and S run through S.E. PA.
Please note that some BicyclePA routes may not be suitable for recreational bicycle riders or younger children.
The Coalition for Philadelphia’s Riverfronts (CPR) is dedicated to improving the quality of the city’s riverfronts by establishing an urban, high quality, continuous, connected and publicly accessible greenway and trail system along the Schuylkill and Delaware rivers.
This group is a coalition of trail builders, managers and advocates. In 2009 they came together to understand the status of the remaining gaps in the SRT and present the federal government with applications for trail funding as a single project. In Feb 2010 they were successful in securing $17.5 million to fund several critical SRT projects in the City of Philadelphia.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors to build healthier places for healthier people.
Schuylkill River Development Corporation manages and develops Schuylkill Banks between the Fairmount Water Works and the Delaware River.
The Schuylkill River Heritage Area built and maintains the sections of the trail in Berks and Schuylkill Counties. The Schuylkill River National & State Heritage Area celebrates the rich culture and history of the Schuylkill River watershed.
